See link attached to an article by Jon-Paul Lennard about turbocharging a 1256 for his HB. Good to see this getting a bit of attention, I have followed his build on Instagram and he has put a tremendous amount of time, thought and effort into this project.

I noticed JP's advert on eBay although I believe that is for the conversion kit only rather than a fully built ready to go engine. Unless he has a treasure trove of 1256's scattered around the house

I agree the 2.3 turbo conversion would also be very interesting and perhaps a more sought after modification than the 1256 if it was proven to work well.

Checked again and yes, its a kit of parts, too cheap for a complete engine....

Yes, always tickled me the way it's just shoe-horned into the dash.

It's interesting that it's a RHD 7 diaI dash in a LHD car. In LHD cars fitted with the 7 dial the clock and rev counter are swapped over. That would have made sense in this installation.

I also noticed the oil pressure is a bit low at around 30psi on a cold start up.
