does anybody know if a carlton 2.0i engine and box will go in a firenza

Been done a number of times but don't know the details. Needs a specially made sump I believe.

Old post I know, but a fuel injected 2.4 Frontera engine would fit nicely in a Firenza or Viva...

it will fit with a manta 1.8 s sump and pick up pipe


retropower did a run off sumps they may have some left the frontera one hangs way to low unless you can get some one to modify it

the main problem on the c20ne is the dizzy might need clearanced

Wrong engine carmad, the later series 1.8/2.0 are different to the earlier CIH engines. To fit th 2.4 you need the Manta 2.0 CIH sump...

that would be a c20ne or c20seh depending on model of carlton
