my dad pulled this out of a vauxhall viva hb 20+ years ago too keep as a spare and it's been stood in our unit since.If memory serves me correct, it was taken out of a low mileage hb, but i cannot guarantee this. most years we squirted some oil into the bores and turned it over by hand. I gave it a fresh lick of paint, which never came out too well.
Items bolted on loosely and i would advise stripping the engine, for inspection just while it's out.
will come with original gearbox

What condition is it in will you think it will go if I take the head off and have a look at the condition!
Do you have engine lift to put I trailer if I come over - cant lift much with my back problems.

All i can go by, is that it was running when removed from a hb many moons ago. It still turns over freely and had oil squirted down the bores once a year. I don't have an engine lift, but i'm sure me and my dad can help lift it into your car
