Hi all I’ve got a faulty ignition switch so have a new one coming but without the barrel and key . Are they easy enough to swap over from the old one many thanks

This is a simple enough job, I've done it myself on several occasions.
Once the switch is removed insert the key back into the barrel. Now to release the barrel from the switch you will need to access the barrel retaing pin/plunger. See attached pic.

Many thanks vx-Mike drilled the hole where marked and bingo. Do you know the difference between two switches I have seen 1533467 and 1533668 . When I took mine out it is the 668 the one I was sent is 467 thanks

Hi Martin, glad you managed to change the key barrel OK. I have no idea what the difference is with the two switches.
